Cameron is a warm and personable clinician with over 8 years of Mental Health experience working with individuals from a range of diverse backgrounds. Cam is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (BA; GradCertAddBeh; MSW, AMHSW) and primarily works with people experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use, gambling and other addictive behaviours, trauma, interpersonal relationships. Cam's therapeutic approach is person-centered and draws from additional training in a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). He also has a special interest in mindfulness-based approaches, with these principles woven into his sessions, or that can also be taught as specific skills. His holistic assessment and intervention style is informed by Cam’s professional training as well as extensive experience as a teacher and practitioner of breathwork & meditation (trained facilitator with the Art of Living Foundation) and yoga (accredited teacher with Australian Yoga Academy), for which he regularly runs workshops around Melbourne. Cam works from a holistic biopsychosocial & trauma-informed lens and strives to create a safe and non-judgemental space. His calm yet engaging demeanour invites a sense of comfort that allows trust to be built and the therapeutic progress to begin. Cam is passionate about guiding clients to remove mental or emotional blockages so that their natural strengths and values can emerge and flourish. Additionally to his private work at Humans Being Counselling, Cam also works at St Vincent’s Hospital in the Department of Addiction Medicine. Outside his clinical roles, Cam spends his time in nature, cycling, meditating, connecting with the community or working on creative projects.

Daniel Chamravi is a Registered Clinical Psychologist (BPsychSci, GDipPsych, MClinPsych, MAPS) who works with adults and older adults. Daniel is focused on providing a warm, empathetic and empowering therapeutic environment that is tailored to the needs of the client. Engaging in partnership with the client, Daniel fosters collaborative and holistic care, developing goals and strategies to help clients better manage their challenges and lead a more fulfilling life.Daniel works with individuals in managing depression, anxiety and panic attacks, trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, identity and life direction, stress & burnout, adjusting to life’s changes, workplaces challenges and relationship & family issues.Daniel’s practice encompasses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), in addition to Humanistic Psychology and Positive Psychology frameworks. Daniel has experience in working with adults and older adults across public hospitals, private practice and community health settings. Daniel is committed to providing a safe and empowering experience for clients from all backgrounds, genders, sexualities and cultures. Daniel holds a Master of Clinical Psychology, is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
