Ms Madeline Wilson Psychologist

Madeline Wilson is a registered psychologist (BSocSci, GDipPysch, MPsych - EdDev), with experience supporting children, adolescents and young adults. Prior to her work in psychology, Madeline worked extensively in the disability sector, with a strong focus on behaviour support, and brings a deep passion for helping neurodivergent children to build a positive sense of identity and self-understanding.In her therapeutic work, Madeline draws on a range of approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy & Schema Therapy. She enjoys supporting clients with anxiety, adjustment and life transitions, interpersonal challenges, trauma, attachment and self-esteem concerns. At the heart of Madeline's practice is a strong commitment to relational work. She believes that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is central to growth and motivation, and places emphasis on strengthening these connections. Madeline is passionate about helping people recognise and build on the internal resources and strengths they already hold. Outside of her clinical work, Madeline enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, op shopping, and taking road trips.
