Mary is a Clinical Psychologist (BSc (Hons), MClinPsych), working with adults at Humans Being Counselling. She has worked in both private and government settings with clients across the lifespan. She uses a flexible and collaborative approach, and draws on various evidenced based therapies and holistic skills and practices; these include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic work, and mindfulness. Her areas of interest include anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships, trauma, grief and loss, and work life balance. Mary is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She enjoys good food and coffee, getting lost in a novel, spending time with her family, and getting out into nature.
