Courtney Tyson(She/her)

Psychologist

Courtney is a registered psychologist who is passionate about supporting adults and young adults. She offers a warm and validating space where people can feel safe to explore life’s challenges and empowered to make meaningful change. Therapy with Courtney is collaborative, flexible, and person-centred. She is authentic and curious in her approach and likes to incorporate humour to facilitate the therapeutic process. Courtney prioritises building trust and rapport with each of her clients and enjoys working with them to build insight into themselves and their experiences and achieve their goals. Courtney has particular interest working with individuals navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, perfectionism, and relationship difficulties. She draws from a range of evidence-based therapies, and tailors these approaches to meet her client’s unique needs and goals. Her main therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), as well as CBT-E and SSCM for eating disorders. Dr Madeline Farmer

Psychologist

Dr Madeline Farmer is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with nine years experience in private practice. She is warm and engaging and focuses on fostering a collaborative approach, working with clients to understand their symptoms and difficulties, and providing evidence based treatments. Madeline is passionate about providing psychoeducation throughout the treatment process, to improve patients ability to apply their therapy skills after treatment is completed, thus reducing the risk of relapse. Madeline provides treatment for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment and trauma related disorders, low self-esteem, perfectionism, ADHD and stress. She enjoys working with adults and older adults, and provides treatment using cognitive behavioural therapy, meta-cognitive therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy informed interventions. Madeline has a Bachelor of Science with first class Honours in psychology, and a professional doctorate of clinical psychology and clinical geropsychology from The University of Queensland. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Madeline works on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Dr Rachael Bellair

Psychologist

Dr Rachael Bellair is a registered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience. She is a warm, respectful and open-minded therapist, who is skilled at providing a safe and comfortable environment in which people can feel heard and understood. Rachael has a special interest in couples therapy and relationship counselling and enjoys working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. She utilises evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches, such as the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focus Therapy (EFT), to help people enhance their relationships by improving communication and increasing physical and emotional intimacy. Rachael works with people from the LGBTQIA+ community and also with non-traditional and diverse relationship structures (such as consensual/ethical non-monogamy (ENM/CNM) including polyamory, swinging, open relationships and kink). Rachael is also experienced working in the areas of eating disorders, anxiety, depression and trauma. She utilises a range of evidence-based psychotherapies such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as eating disorder specific therapies, such as CBT-E, MANTRA and SSCM. Rachael works in the practice Tuesdays, Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings (plus clinical supervision via Zoom on Wednesdays).

Georgina David

Psychologist

Georgie is a Clinical Psychologist who is warm, curious and compassionate. Georgie believes that the most important aspect of therapy is creating a safe, caring and collaborative relationship with her clients. Georgie offers individual therapy to people aged 18 and above and is experienced working with a broad range of mental health concerns including eating disorders, anxiety, trauma, perfectionism and depression. She also enjoys working with those who wish to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and process/make sense of their current and/or past experiences. Whilst Georgie provides both long-term and short-term treatment options, she prefers to work with clients seeking longer term therapy. Georgie particularly enjoys working with identity development, self-esteem, and relationship issues. Georgie uses an integrative approach to treatment that is trauma-informed and driven by evidence-based therapies, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, CBT, DBT and Mentalization Based Therapy. Georgie has also completed additional training in eating disorders and can offer CBT-E, Mantra, or SSCM to these clients. Georgie is an LGBTIQA+ friendly psychologist. Everyone’s journey through life is unique and Georgie believes that as your therapist it is her role to walk alongside you in whatever capacity you may need at that point in time.

Kirryn Chamberlain

Kirryn is a registered Psychologist who has a passion and dedication to helping people with their life struggles and mental health concerns. Kirryn creates a warm, empathetic, non-judgmental, collaborative and understanding environment with a high level of respect for her clients. Kirryn holds qualifications in a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology Honours) and a Masters in Clinical Psychology and is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has experience in psychological assessment, treatment and interventions of a range of interpersonal, occupational and emotional difficulties across the lifespan, which she has acquired from working in hospital and private practice settings. Kirryn has worked extensively in both individual therapy and group therapy settings. Kirryn works from a strength-based, collaborative and patient-focused framework. She incorporates an integrative lens including evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic approaches, Soultion-Focused therapy (SFT), trauma informed care, Motivational Interviewing (MI), positive psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- Eating Disorders (CBT-E) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). Kirryn’s main areas of interest includes helping adults and adolescents (16 years and older) who are struggling with a range of emotional and behavioural concerns including feeding and eating disorders (including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and body dysmorphic disorder), substance related and addictive disorders, trauma and stress related disorders, grief and loss, perfectionism, anxiety disorders, depression disorders, Obsessive-compulsive disorders, relationship difficulties, work related stress, bipolar disorder and parenting concerns.
