Courtney is a registered psychologist who is passionate about supporting adults and young adults. She offers a warm and validating space where people can feel safe to explore life’s challenges and empowered to make meaningful change.
Therapy with Courtney is collaborative, flexible, and person-centred. She is authentic and curious in her approach and likes to incorporate humour to facilitate the therapeutic process. Courtney prioritises building trust and rapport with each of her clients and enjoys working with them to build insight into themselves and their experiences and achieve their goals.
Courtney has particular interest working with individuals navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, perfectionism, and relationship difficulties. She draws from a range of evidence-based therapies, and tailors these approaches to meet her client’s unique needs and goals. Her main therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), as well as CBT-E and SSCM for eating disorders.
