Emily Eldan

Psychologist

Emily is a psychologist with over 15 years of professional experience in both public and private clinical settings. She provides psychological treatment to a range of clientele from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and seniors. ​Emily’s areas of interest include anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, adjustment issues, and interpersonal and relationship difficulties. She specialises in a range of therapies, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. Her therapeutic style is warm, caring, and approachable. She strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space, taking the time to personally get to know each client and their unique needs and goals. This approach also ensures that all her clients feel welcome, understood, and supported throughout their personal therapeutic journey. Emily is available for both face to face and telehealth appointments.

Faryal Iqbal

Psychologist

Faryal is a provisional psychologist with a passion for working with children and families. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Psychology Honours degree from the University of Sydney and is currently pursuing a Master of Clinical Psychology. Faryal has valuable experience in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to young people with various concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and sleep difficulties. In her role, Faryal strives to create a validating and warm space for her clients. Her compassionate nature is reflected in her commitment to helping the community, particularly individuals from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds. Faryal’s goal is to use a collaborative approach to empower families, ensuring they feel supported on the therapeutic journey. In her free time, Faryal enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching countless food videos, and going on the occasional nature walk.

Miss Mona Taleb

Psychologist

Mona is a registered psychologist with AHPRA. She has completed a Bachelor of Psychology and a Post graduate Certificate in Psychology Practice with over 10 years' experience working with children, adolescents and families. She has a special interest in working with children who experience anxiety, poor self esteem, depression and a range of behavioural and emotional challenges. Mona is trained in Eye Movement Densensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and can support children and young people who have experienced trauma. Mona has a passion for working with parents and providing them with support and the tools with which to connect with their child. She is a fun, friendly psychologist who can relate well to younger kids. She has over 5 years of experience working as a school psychologist, being a guide and mentor and over 5 years of experience working in a private clinic setting.

Mrs Fabeha Noor

Counsellor

Fabeha is a Counsellor and a Provisional Member with PACFA. She holds a Master's degree of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Fabeha has practical experience working with teens and adults, and has experience in providing counselling for anxiety, depression, self-confidence issues, negative thinking and trauma. She works with people from all cultural backgrounds and considers cultural influences in her therapeutic work. Fabeha is a friendly and easy-going counsellor who connects with both teens and adults smoothly and prioritises clients' comfort over anything else. She approaches her clients with understanding and compassion. Fabeha loves uplifting others and encourages positivity in clients whilst embracing their challenges. She is always ready to lend a listening ear and dedicates herself to each of her clients. Fabeha's warmth and connection comes through in both face-to-face and online video sessions, so clients can get the benefit of her counselling in either mode of therapy. She is on the path to becoming a fully registered psychologist and is a highly valued team member at Flying High. Hajra is friendly, caring, fun, enthusiastic and loves working with children of all ages. She is driven to make a positive impact in everyone’s lives whilst reaching realistic individual goals. She has a passion for working alongside individuals and constantly enhancing her skills- ensuring she provides the most effective and up-to-date service. Hajra provides assessments and therapy and can work with children, adolescents and families on the NDIS and privately.

Mrs Saima Ali

Psychologist

Saima has completed a Bachelor of Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology. She is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Saima is trained in several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Saima has experience working with a diverse range of clients of all cultural groups and ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. She also has worked with children with disabilities, including intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Saima has a keen interest in working with children/ people experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, ADHD, behavioural problems, childhood difficulties, phobias, low self-esteem, and anger issues. She has worked in a range of settings, including schools, non-government organisations, charities, and private practice. She has experience working face to face, on video and telephone. Saima enjoys spending time with family and friends and finds gardening very therapeutic.

Ms Fatma-Nur Atan

Psychologist

Fatma-Nur Atan is a Clinical Masters Registrar who has completed a Bachelor of Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Fatma has gained experience working with children and young people through Headspace and other reputable mental health institutes. Fatma is passionate about educating the community about mental health and advocating for the community. Fatma works with children and young people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD and more.

Joanne is a Provisional Psychologist with 10 years of prior experience as a Special Needs teacher, Learning Enrichment Coordinator and Diverse Learning Educational Consultant to schools, across Kinder to Year 12. She has a deep understanding of the complexities and possibilities for children with diverse learning and support needs, and a passion for supporting children and families impacted by a wide range of neurodevelopmental challenges, mood disorders, learning difficulties, and wellbeing issues.
