She specialises in a range of therapies, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Psychology Honours degree from the University of Sydney and is currently pursuing a Master of Clinical Psychology. Faryal has valuable experience in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to young people with various concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and sleep difficulties. In her role, Faryal strives to create a validating and warm space for her clients. She has completed a Bachelor of Psychology and a Post graduate Certificate in Psychology Practice with over 10 years' experience working with children, adolescents and families. She has a special interest in working with children who experience anxiety, poor self esteem, depression and a range of behavioural and emotional challenges. Mona is trained in Eye Movement Densensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and can support children and young people who have experienced trauma. Mona has a passion for working with parents and providing them with support and the tools with which to connect with their child. She is a fun, friendly psychologist who can relate well to younger kids. She has over 5 years of experience working as a school psychologist, being a guide and mentor and over 5 years of experience working in a private clinic setting.
