Harrison Morris

Psychologist

Harry supports individuals with BPD, ADHD and Autism who have concurrent Complex PTSD or depression/anxiety. Harry works with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and focuses on gender affirming care. Harry believes in creative problem solving for neurodivergent individuals, acknowledging that their pathway to wellness may be different to many other people. He does this by creating an honest, fun and down to earth therapy space which allows for creative ideas for wellness to come about. He understands that many factors have lead people to react in unhealthy coping mechanisms and focuses on introducing new healthy patterns that were not taught to them growing up. Emotion dysregulation is an overlapping trait in BPD, Autism and ADHD. Harry provides DBT and ACT coping strategies to handle uncertainty and overthinking, associated with having these diagnoses. Harry teaches emotional regulation skills at times of extreme distress. He is socio-politically informed and engaged in hearing about how your unique life experiences interact with the current situation you are going through. Harry understands emotional regulation skills are difficult to use at times of extreme distress. He uses the therapeutic space for individuals to act out healthy ways of coping, using examples, before asking them to practice this outside of therapy. Harry uses DBT, ACT and CBT.
