Suja Jose is a highly experienced Diabetes Nurse Practitioner and credentialed Diabetes Educator with over 21 years of clinical expertise in diabetes education and management. Specializing in Type 2 diabetes and obesity management, Suja has made significant contributions to patient care in both hospital and community settings.
Having held various senior clinical leadership roles within NSW Health, Suja is deeply committed to improving outcomes for individuals living with diabetes and obesity. Her approach to care is rooted in the core values of respect, empathy, and patient-centred care, ensuring a holistic approach to health and well-being.
Suja graduated with a Master of Nurse Practitioner from the University of Technology, Sydney, and holds multiple advanced qualifications, including a Master of Advanced Nursing with a specialization in diabetes management. Additionally, she has completed a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management and a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing, following her Bachelor of Nursing Honors degree.
With extensive experience at one of the busiest diabetes centres in NSW, Suja has honed her expertise in obesity management, gaining invaluable subspecialty experience.
