Justin has been Endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner for 12 years, with eclectic experience in rural and remote nursing, Indigenous health, cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiothoracics, critical care, emergency, paediatrics, and General Practice. He has postgraduate qualifications in Intensive care and health promotion.
He currently works at the Queensland Childrens Hospital, Morayfield Health Hub and My Weight Loss Clinic. He is also an active Member of Aumatt, the Federal Disaster Management Response Team.
As a family man of four (soon to be five) children, he has a special interest in mens health, Health Promotion, Family health, critical care and growing old respectfully and healthily.
His personal weight story is interesting from being super fit, completing an Ironman triathlon in 2018, to getting caught in the busy, working (with shift work) family life, and slowly gaining weight.
His focus will be on a culture of realistic weight loss that is achievable in a busy life, and not involving individual meals seperate to the rest of the family.
