Dr Kate has bookings open for new and existing clients, without needing a referral. Dr Kate Sewell graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007, and went on to work for several years at the Ipswich Hospital including additional training in paediatrics and emergency medicine. She commenced GP training in 2014 after the birth of her twin girls, and was awarded a fellowship of the Royal Australia College of General Practice in 2017. She has enjoyed the daily challenge of working in “cradle to grave” general practice for nearly a decade, but 15 minute appointments were never really her style! Kate can’t wait to spend more time with longer appointments getting to know young people and their families. Coming from a neurodiverse family of four, Kate is passionate about identifying the positives about our special brains! While we might need some tips and tricks to perform to the best of our abilities in this crazy, modern world, people with ADHD and ASD also have special abilities that should be applauded. She will engage with children, their parents and other carers, teachers and allied health professionals to ensure we are doing the most we can to support them as they grow and learn. When she’s not at work, Kate can usually be found outside. She loves camping, hiking, skiing, horse-riding and kayaking with her family. She also plays the double bass and piano, and loves chilling with her rather large menagerie including dogs, cats, parrots, chickens and fish. When she can find the right pup, she can’t wait to have a therapy dog at work, so watch this space!

Dr Faiza Khan

GP (General Practitioner)
I am a mental health specialist General Practitioner with focus on 'whole person care.' I offer long consultations focusing on support of patients' emotional, spiritual and psychological well-being. I help people with issues such as fatigue, insomnia, emotional dysregulation, chronic stress, perfectionism, low self esteem/mood, concerns related to pregnancy, fertility, parenting challenges, chronic headaches etc. I work from an emotional and psychosocial perspective as a therapy provider and as a team member separate to your own GP; as such I do not order investigations or manage physical health issues but I am happy to collaborate with your usual GP who manages your long term health, in the same way any other psychologist or counsellor would. Unfortunately, I do not accept any TAC, Workcover, or cases involving the family court or other legal proceedings. You do not need a referral to see me(however if you have one with your medical history, recent investigations and relevant information, it can be very handy.) All initial appointments are 60 minutes. Subsequent appointments will be booked for 30 minutes, 60 minutes or 75 minutes depending on the complexity of the issue/issues. All appointments are privately charged and paid on the day. Late cancellations (with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a percentage of the fee .) Patients with a medicare card will receive rebates directly(provided bank account details are linked with medicare.)

Dr Kelly is a Specialist GP and Menopause Doctor, dedicated to supporting women through the unique challenges of midlife health. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame, Sydney in 2018 and completed her GP training in the Northern Rivers. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Kelly’s passion for menopause medicine emerged almost accidentally during her work as a GP, where she encountered countless women grappling with complex symptoms and a lack of clear guidance. She became increasingly aware of how misinformation and confusion often led to unnecessary investigations, inappropriate treatments, and unmet needs. This inspired her to pursue further education in hormonal and metabolic health, with the goal of offering evidence-based, individualised care. Kelly understands that the menopause transition is a pivotal time in a woman’s life—one that can affect every aspect of her physical and emotional wellbeing. She provides a supportive, compassionate environment where women feel heard, informed, and empowered to make choices that enhance their quality of life. When not at work, you’ll find Kelly café-hopping or cycling around town. She’s passionate about staying active - whether it’s running along the beach, lifting weights, or doing a mixture of home workout classes.
