Yee Tak (Crystal) Lee Psychologist

Crystal is a client-centred, patient, nurturing, non-judgemental, Registered Psychologist who offers face-to-face and online therapy for individuals aged 15 and above. Crystal integrates different treatment approaches to meet the unique individual needs of her clients. In therapy sessions, Crystal's clients receive both practical strategies for their personal needs and deeper experiential experiences for processing their emotions and memories. Early in her career, Crystal focused on early intervention through conducting diagnostic assessments and providing behavioural strategies and parenting techniques for parents of children with special needs. However, Crystal currently works with individuals aged 15 years and above who experience mental health concerns including: depression anxiety panic stress sleep problems OCD, intrusive and/or self-loathing thoughts interpersonal problems complicated grief and loss childhood trauma personality disorders In her work, Crystal incorporates a range of evidence-based treatments, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), mindfulness and relaxation techniques. She is currently in the process of obtaining accreditation as an Advanced Schema Therapist. Crystal can deliver therapy in English and Cantonese. She is also a devoted Christian and welcomes clients who prefer to seek treatment from a psychologist with a shared faith and worldview. Outside therapy sessions, Crystal creates YouTube videos about psychology treatment to the Cantonese-speaking population. Other times she enjoys engaging in social, physical and spiritual activities as these are important for the nourishment of her own health. Crystal sees clients by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Mindworx Psychology.
