Amber Abbott is an experienced clinical psychologist and brings a gentle and warm approach to helping clients understand and overcome their challenges. With over 17 years of experience, Amber has enjoyed working as a Psychologist with a diverse range of adult clients and running group therapy programs. She has worked with a wide range of clients, in a range of settings including community mental health, private inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient group therapy, and in private practice. Amber has also enjoyed working on various multidisciplinary teams assisting people effectively cope with the mental and emotional impacts of living with chronic health conditions including cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, and Parkinson’s Disease. Her approach as a Psychologist is collaborative and solution focused. With training in a number of evidence-based therapies, Amber offers a range of psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Amber believes that the best springboard for meaningful change is first accepting yourself as you are. Therefore, when needed she weaves strategies for self-compassion and mindfulness through her approach to helping clients achieve their goals and overcome life’s hurdles. As a clinical Psychologist, Amber is able to assist adult clients presenting with a broad range of concerns.

Apeksha 'Abby' Chadaga

Apeksha (Abby) Chadaga is a Registered Psychologist who provides a safe, warm and supportive environment in which clients can make positive changes in their lives. Prior to joining our practice, Abby worked as a Senior Youth Access Clinician/Psychologist with the team at Headspace, where her work was with young adults aged 12-25 years. With an appreciation for the importance of psychological assessment, Abby undertook a range of assessments and provided psychological interventions using a variety or treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, and brief solutions focused therapy. Abby recognises that every person is unique, and she works creatively and dynamically to tailor evidence-based treatments that best fit her clients’ needs and strengths, whether face-to face, or working online with her via an interactive telehealth session through live video connection. Abby has also worked with TMS clinics, assisting in the delivery of transcranial magnetic stimulation, and as a rehabilitation consultant assisting with the recovery and return to work of injured workers, and managing the psychological barriers and challenges of physical injury. Dr Amanda Mullin

Dr Amanda Mullin is the Director and Founder of Mindworx Psychology. An experienced Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, binge-eating disorders, emotional regulation, trauma and parenting. With a family of her own, Amanda understands the pressures families can face. She enjoys working with both adults and children, and has a particular interest in holistic health and in the treatment of emotional problems, mood and anxiety disorders, stress management, sleep problems and ADHD. Dr Amanda Mullin is a registered Medicare provider, a registered WorkCover provider, a registered member of the APS (MAPS) - Australian Psychological Society and a Fellow of the Clinical College (FAPS). Amanda is a consultant psychologist with Ramsay Health (Westmead Private Hospital) and Lakeside Hospital (HSS). In addition to her private practice, Amanda is a popular speaker on mental health for schools and organisations, delivering a range of seminars, training and keynote.

Khalil is a generally registered Psychologist who worked in a corporate environment for more than a decade before he started and completed psychology studies in Australia. He considers himself to be privileged to have had a rich life experience in terms of working and living with people of diverse cultural backgrounds, various socio-economic statuses, and different age groups. Khalil works with a range of presenting issues, including mood disorders, autism, ADHD, relationship issues, workplace relationships and stressors, and life stressors such as health or medical conditions, unemployment, grief and divorce. Khalil works across the lifespan, with children, teenagers and adults. His psychological approach is based on well researched theories and informed by the most recent publications in this field. He enjoys both psychological assessments and providing psychological treatment. Delivering psychological interventions for mental health disorders is his passion. Khalil believes all people should be treasured, and this belief underpins his practice. Lara is a friendly and down-to-earth Psychologist, who strives to create a safe and supportive space for her clients. Her approach is collaborative, gentle and non-judgemental. She believes in using evidence-based therapy that is dynamic and tailored to each individual and/or family. Lara has delivered psychological interventions to children, adolescents & adults in public health settings and research-based university clinics. She is very passionate about working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, low mood, intense or fluctuating emotions, and self-harm. She has also been trained to work with parents for the treatment of non-compliance and emotional outbursts in children. Crystal is a client-centred, patient, nurturing, non-judgemental, Registered Psychologist who offers face-to-face and online therapy for individuals aged 15 and above. Crystal integrates different treatment approaches to meet the unique individual needs of her clients. In therapy sessions, Crystal's clients receive both practical strategies for their personal needs and deeper experiential experiences for processing their emotions and memories. Early in her career, Crystal focused on early intervention through conducting diagnostic assessments and providing behavioural strategies and parenting techniques for parents of children with special needs. However, Crystal currently works with individuals aged 15 years and above who experience mental health concerns including: depression anxiety panic stress sleep problems OCD, intrusive and/or self-loathing thoughts interpersonal problems complicated grief and loss childhood trauma personality disorders In her work, Crystal incorporates a range of evidence-based treatments, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), mindfulness and relaxation techniques. She is currently in the process of obtaining accreditation as an Advanced Schema Therapist. Crystal can deliver therapy in English and Cantonese. She is also a devoted Christian and welcomes clients who prefer to seek treatment from a psychologist with a shared faith and worldview. Outside therapy sessions, Crystal creates YouTube videos about psychology treatment to the Cantonese-speaking population. Other times she enjoys engaging in social, physical and spiritual activities as these are important for the nourishment of her own health. Crystal sees clients by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Mindworx Psychology.
