Danielle is a qualified Counsellor (Level 2, ACA), and a Clinical Supervisor trained in the Step Up model of supervision. She has a Bachelor of Counselling from the University of Notre Dame, is a Level 1 Gottman Method trained couples counsellor and is passionate about helping clients build and maintain happy, healthy relationships in all areas of life.
She has been in private practice for over three years, working in-person and online, with individuals and couples in areas of trauma, relationship issues, personal development, burnout, betrayal, anxiety, depression and grief.
Danielle’s approach to counselling is warm and person-centred, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as schema therapy, attachment theory, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and compassion-focused therapies.
As a Clinical Supervisor, she takes a holistic approach to ensure supervisees are maintaining a balance between an ethical, professional and reflective practice, and taking care of their own wellbeing to avoid compassion fatigue and burnout.
