Tanya Cosgrave is a registered psychologist with over 19 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has a Master of Educational Developmental Psychology and is fully registered with AHPRA.
Tanya has extensive experience working within the education system, from pre school to year 12, advocating for children, young people and their families to ensure the needs of each child/young person are being met, with the right service, at the right time.
Tanya has an interest in psychometric assessment, including cognition, academic skills, as well as conducting developmental, behavioural and neurodevelopmental assessments.
She is trained in the ADOS, ADI-R and the MIGDAS. She has almost 2 decades experience in interpretation and reporting of assessment results and guiding families (and the child/ young person) in understanding the outcome of the assessments and what they mean for the child/ young person and their family.
Tanya enjoys working therapeutically with children/young people and their families. Her approaches include CBT, ACT, solution focused/strengths based, some play based therapy.
