Shivani is a Registered Psychologist at our Macquarie Psychology Clinic, who works with adolescents and adults across a broad range of mental health presentations, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, trauma, and stress-related conditions.
She utilises evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness–Based CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. Shivani adopts a warm, collaborative, and client-centred approach, supporting individuals to develop insight, resilience, and practical strategies to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
Shivani holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) from Monash University, a Master of Professional Psychology from Bond University, and a Graduate Diploma of Professional Psychology from the College of Professional Psychology. Her academic and professional training has provided her with a strong foundation in evidence–based psychological assessment and intervention.
Shivani is passionate about creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
