Shagun is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney and has extensive experience providing assessment, formulation and evidence-based treatment for a variety of clinical presentations, including depression, anxiety, PTSD and complex trauma, personality disorders, sex therapy and relationship therapy.
Shagun’s primary focus is to provide a warm and compassionate space for therapy. She believes in catering to the unique needs of her clients in order to provide evidence-based, client-centered treatment.
Shagun’s integrative, holistic approach draws on her experience and training in Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Gottman’s Method for Couple’s Therapy, and Trauma-informed and recovery-focused care.
Shagun is passionate about building a collaborative and trusting relationship with her client and believes in empowering her clients with the awareness and skills to integrate the various aspects of their functioning. Her focus is to enable her clients to understand their experiences, overcome their challenges, and learn appropriate skills that will ultimately enable them to build a more fulfilling life.
