Carmen Rossitto

Psychologist

Carmen Rossitto is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years of experience in various clinical settings. She is committed to providing personalised, evidence-based assessment and therapeutic support in a warm, compassionate and engaging environment. Her therapeutic practice is underpinned by the values of empathy, respect, authenticity, and inclusivity. Carmen obtained her Honours degree in Psychology and Master of Clinical Psychology from Deakin University (Melbourne). Since then, she has worked extensively with children and adolescents as well as adults and older adults in public mental health, out-of-home care, and private settings. She is experienced in working with clients of all ages with various difficulties with mood and anxieties, PTSD and trauma, attachment/relationship issues, identity, personality, LGBITQ+/cultural, health and perinatal mental health. Carmen feels lucky to have gained experience working with the Indigenous population in her previous career in Public Relations in the education sector. Carmen employs a blended range of modalities including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Dr Nicholas Ryan

Psychologist

Nicholas is a registered Psychologist, Clinical Neuropsychologist, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. He is a warm, engaging, and compassionate psychologist who strives to establish a safe, honest, and trusting therapeutic relationship with his clients. Nicholas works with adults experiencing a range of life challenges, including stress, procrastination, anxiety, depression, and adjustment to life changes. With his specialist training in clinical neuropsychology, Nicholas also works with adults living with ADHD and acquired brain injury. Nicholas is committed to supporting the personal growth and wellbeing of his clients. He collaborates with clients to understand their specific needs and identify the therapeutic approaches that will work best for them. Nicholas offers a flexible range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-based therapy. Nicholas has experience working across a range of public mental health settings and is a registered board-approved supervisor. He is a Senior Lecturer and academic at Deakin University and has published over 40 scientific journal articles and three book chapters. Nicholas currently teaches into the Master and Doctor of Clinical Psychology programs at Deakin University and has a passion for developing skilled graduate psychologists with an understanding of holistic, evidence-based practice. Nicholas welcomes clients of all genders, ethnicities, religions, relationship types and sexualities. Clients who have a Mental Health Treatment Plan referral from a GP are eligible for the Medicare rebate for psychological therapy services provided by Nicholas.

Jason Chung

Psychologist

Jason Chung is a registered psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Jason has experience providing psychological support to people struggling with various difficulties, including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, ADHD, grief & loss, and anger. Jason adopts a person-centred approach and strives to create a compassionate, safe and non-judgemental therapeutic environment. He adopts a ‘teamwork approach’ where the aim is to work in collaboration with his clients to help them gain understanding and awareness of their difficulties, better able to manage those difficulties, and take steps towards building the life they find valuable. Jason tailors his approach to each individual and utilises various evidence-based treatment modalities to best suit the client’s needs and goals. Jason’s treatment approach includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Schema Therapy.

Lynette Moseley

Lyn Moseley graduated with a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Flinders University in 2008. As a registered psychologist, she has provided psychological support to adults, families, children and adolescents in private practice and educational settings. Lyn has contributed to three research trials addressing adolescent sleep issues and worked with children, adolescents and parents at the Flinders University Child and Adolescent Sleep Clinic to assess and treat paediatric sleep problems. Through this she has developed a particular interest and expertise in helping individuals across the lifespan overcome sleep problems. Utilising her years of experience working with families, children and adolescents, Lyn can support parents experiencing family issues by encouraging positive, strength-based parenting practices and emotion coaching to help them better manage their child’s behaviour and emotion regulation and develop happier family functioning. Lyn works with adult clients at Mindview Psychology to address presenting issues while also helping them develop insight and self-confidence so they can improve their life experiences by making meaningful and sustained change. Lyn uses an integrative approach to therapy with adults drawing on evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and incorporates mindfulness and compassion focussed mind training to assist clients better manage life’s challenges including anxiety, depression, sleep problems, performance anxiety, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, grief and loss and general coping. Lyn supports clients unpack the experiences that have shaped them and help them discover their inner resources to live more deliberately in the present and with hope for their future.

Shagun Chawla

Shagun is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney and has extensive experience providing assessment, formulation and evidence-based treatment for a variety of clinical presentations, including depression, anxiety, PTSD and complex trauma, personality disorders, sex therapy and relationship therapy. Shagun’s primary focus is to provide a warm and compassionate space for therapy. She believes in catering to the unique needs of her clients in order to provide evidence-based, client-centered treatment. Shagun’s integrative, holistic approach draws on her experience and training in Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Gottman’s Method for Couple’s Therapy, and Trauma-informed and recovery-focused care. Shagun is passionate about building a collaborative and trusting relationship with her client and believes in empowering her clients with the awareness and skills to integrate the various aspects of their functioning. Her focus is to enable her clients to understand their experiences, overcome their challenges, and learn appropriate skills that will ultimately enable them to build a more fulfilling life.
