Saskia is a qualified Occupational Therapist who graduated from Griffith University. Saskia is passionate about working with children and their families to support her clients through a strengths-based and family-centred approach. Saskia enjoys engaging children in activities and occupations that are meaningful and purposeful to them and their families. She values building strong relationships with her clients and their families to empower and support them to achieve their goals. Saskia moved to Australia in 2020 from South Africa to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy and to make a difference in young people’s lives. Saskia has previous experience teaching dancing classes that have provided her with the necessary skills to effectively work with children and adapt and break down complex routines. She is looking forward to working with neurodiverse children through play-based interventions that assist with developing necessary skills that enhance their abilities.
