Ale is a New Zealand registered psychologist and a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). She works with clients of all ages and has a lot of experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Ale focuses on behavioural assessments and interventions to manage and reduce symptoms relating to anxiety, depression, bullying, burnout, impulsive behaviours, women's issues, workplace issues, phobias, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and anger management. Ale implements function-based interventions that are individually tailored to help identify what is contributing to her client's presenting problem in order to create meaningful change.

Karen Hielkema

Karen is a passionate psychologist with experience across a wide variety of settings. Karen has a particular interest in anxiety, women’s psychology, gender issues and workplace issues. She offers a safe and non-judgemental space for you to open-up about any challenges you may be facing. Karen often utilises unique and creative models for both therapy and coaching, based on the use of mindfulness and connection to values. You both can work together to develop effective strategies that you can implement outside of therapy to help better manage symptoms. Karen incorporate techniques from a range of therapeutic models including cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, positive psychology, strength based and solution focused therapy. Karen works with adolescents and adults and accept EAP and Geneva Health referrals. Karen aim is to support my clients and help them to find balance and reach their goals through a strengths-based approach. She provides short-term and long-term therapy depending on your wants and needs.

Megan Greer

Megan is a New Zealand Registered Psychologist with 10 years experience. Originally from South Africa, Megan has worked in various clinical settings and supervision roles. Prior to moving to New Zealand in 2019, she was in private practice working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, and has since gained experience in the New Zealand forensic context. Having trained primarily in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Megan understands that 'relationships' are at the core of how we experience ourselves, others, and the world. With a focus on creating a safe and collaborative therapy space, Megan works in an individualised approach to facilitate insight and meaningful change best suited to the needs and challenges you may be working through.

Moira Howson

Moira is a New Zealand Registered Psychologist who adopts a warm and pragmatic approach to therapy. She has many years of experience across a variety of settings, working with individuals in the corporate, education and primary health sector. She has a special interest in organisational and counselling psychology however her areas of interest also include anxiety, mood issues, phobias relationship difficulties, grief and loss, chronic health concerns, trauma, stress and burnout, anger management, workplace issues, OCD and postnatal depression. Moira utilises a client-centred approach and adapts evidence based therapies including positive psychology, dialectical behaviour therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy to help guide clients toward their chosen goals.

Masha Broadbent – Provisional Member of NZAC Hi, I’m Masha. I’m a counselor committed to helping people grow and thrive. I hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Counseling from AUT, where I received training in a range of therapeutic approaches. I’ve spent over two years working with children (ages 6-11), adults, and couples. I focus on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and empowered. My approach is person-centered, meaning I believe you’re the expert on your own life. I draw on tools like Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Imago Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA) and Interactive Drawing Therapy (IDT) to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings. I also enjoy using creative methods like sand tray and play therapy, especially with younger clients, to help them express themselves in fun and meaningful ways. In addition to my work with children and individuals, I’m passionate about supporting couples to improve communication and build stronger, more supportive relationships. I use Imago conversation techniques to help couples connect and understand each other better.

She is a warm, compassionate and approachable psychologist who enjoys supporting her clients to help improve their life outcomes and achieve their own personal goals. Naomi has a lot of experience managing and reducing her client's symptoms in issues relating to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, chronic pain, stress management and relationship difficulties.
