Miss Emily Wilson

Occupational Therapist

Emily is an experienced occupational therapist with a strong background in functional capacity assessments, complex home modifications, and assistive technology (AT) applications. She has worked across acute, sub-acute, and community settings, providing tailored occupational therapy solutions to improve independence and quality of life for her clients. Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) – Emily has extensive experience conducting comprehensive assessments for clients requiring support through NDIS, aged care, and compensable schemes. Skilled in evaluating daily living skills, mobility needs, and cognitive function to determine appropriate interventions and funding recommendations. Emily has extensive experience in completing applications for NDIS, Home Care Packages and TAC. Complex Home Modifications – Expertise in assessing environmental barriers, designing home modifications, and working closely with builders and funding bodies to ensure safe and accessible living environments. Special focus on bathroom modifications, ramp access, and structural changes for individuals with mobility limitations. Assistive Technology & Equipment Prescription – Expertise in prescribing wheelchairs, pressure care seating, powered mobility devices, and adaptive equipment. Experienced in completing funding applications for AT provision. Mr Jacob Simpson

Jake is a physiotherapist with experience working across neurological rehabilitation, paediatrics, and aged care. He has worked in both hospital and community settings, providing tailored therapy to support mobility, independence, and overall well-being for clients of all ages. Jake holds a Master of Physiotherapy, following a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science. He has worked with a wide range of clients, including: Neurological Rehabilitation – Supporting individuals with stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions, focusing on improving movement, strength, coordination, and independence. Paediatrics – Helping children with developmental delays, motor coordination difficulties, and mobility challenges through structured, engaging therapy. Aged Care & Geriatric Rehabilitation – Assisting older adults in maintaining strength, balance, and functional mobility to support independence and prevent falls. Post-Surgical & General Rehabilitation – Providing therapy for recovery after surgery, injury, or prolonged hospital stays, with a focus on regaining strength and movement. Jake takes a patient-centered approach, tailoring therapy to each individual’s needs and goals. Ms Chantelle Morrissey

Chantelle Morrissey is an experienced physiotherapist with over a decade of diverse clinical experience across the public, private, and community health sectors. Graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from Monash University in 2015, she also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, where she majored in Neuroscience, Anatomy, and Physiology. Chantelle later completed a Master of Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, with additional training in paediatric rehabilitation and continence management. Chantelle is the Founder and Principal Physiotherapist at Peninsula Community Physiotherapy, where she leads a multidisciplinary team delivering services across paediatrics, neurological rehabilitation, disability care, and women’s health. Her clinical expertise spans: Neurological rehabilitation (including stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and post-chemo fatigue and neuropathy) Pelvic health and continence physiotherapy, including antenatal/postnatal care and lactation-related musculoskeletal issues, as well as disability related continence needs Paediatric physiotherapy for children with developmental delays, delayed toileting, DCD, Autism, ADHD, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Functional Capacity Assessments and reporting for NDIS participants with complex physical and psychosocial needs Assistive technology prescription, equipment recommendations and wheelchair prescription Dry needling and pain science-informed practice for chronic pain conditions Aged care and mobility support, particularly for individuals with cognitive impairment, dementia, or reduced functional capacity Chantelle is especially passionate about working with neurodivergent clients and supporting children and adults with co-occurring conditions such as Autism, ADHD, EDS, and coordination difficulties as well as neurological conditions. Outside of her professional life, Chantelle is a mother of four and enjoys running, swimming, and spending weekends at the beach with her children and German Shepherd.

Kristen graduated in 2019 with a Master’s in Physiotherapy and has a background in Exercise and Sports Science. She has extensive experience working in community physiotherapy, particularly with individuals with neurological conditions, disabilities, and aged care needs. She has also worked in private practice, helping clients manage pain, recover from injuries, and improve mobility through exercise and Pilates-based rehabilitation. Kristen is passionate about making physiotherapy engaging and meaningful while supporting clients in achieving their goals. Experienced in community physiotherapy, working with NDIS participants and aged care clients in home-based settings Skilled in assessing, treating, and developing individualized therapy plans for people with neurological conditions, including chronic stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease (PD), and motor neurone disease (MND) Proficient in NDIS report writing, goal-directed treatment planning, and liaising with support coordinators and multidisciplinary teams Background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, including injury rehabilitation and pain management Trained in clinical Pilates, running 1:1 and group sessions to improve strength, flexibility, and function Experience in mentoring and supervising physiotherapy staff, organizing internal CPD opportunities, and monitoring clinical caseloads Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach Kristen is committed to evidence-based practice and has completed additional training in women’s health, aquatic therapy, vestibular physiotherapy, and early intervention for cerebral palsy.
