Overview

Emily is an experienced occupational therapist with a strong background in functional capacity assessments, complex home modifications, and assistive technology (AT) applications. She has worked across acute, sub-acute, and community settings, providing tailored occupational therapy solutions to improve independence and quality of life for her clients. Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) – Emily has extensive experience conducting comprehensive assessments for clients requiring support through NDIS, aged care, and compensable schemes. Skilled in evaluating daily living skills, mobility needs, and cognitive function to determine appropriate interventions and funding recommendations. Emily has extensive experience in completing applications for NDIS, Home Care Packages and TAC. Complex Home Modifications – Expertise in assessing environmental barriers, designing home modifications, and working closely with builders and funding bodies to ensure safe and accessible living environments. Special focus on bathroom modifications, ramp access, and structural changes for individuals with mobility limitations. Assistive Technology & Equipment Prescription – Expertise in prescribing wheelchairs, pressure care seating, powered mobility devices, and adaptive equipment. Experienced in completing funding applications for AT provision. Aged Care & Neurological Rehabilitation – Extensive experience supporting older adults and individuals with neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis to improve function, safety, and independence at home and in the community.
