Natalie is a Psychologist (Clinical Psychology Registrar) with over 10 years of therapuetic experience working with children, teens, and adults in primary, secondary, and tertiary educational settings. Natalie has also worked as a Psychologist in Private Practice and with Headspace. Natalie now mainly works with adults with difficulties with eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, phobias, ADHD, PTSD, complex PTSD, sexual fetishes, and coaching parents with children with emotional or behavioural challenges. Natalie has also recently completed a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Natalie is member of the EMDR Association of Australia, the International Association of Schema Therapy, the Australia Association of Psychologists, and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Natalie is a registered provider of psychological services for the Medicare Better Access Scheme, Veterans and Families Counselling Scheme (Open Arms), Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), NDIS, and CTP and Workers Compensation Schemes. Natalie is EMDR trained and uses a variety of evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Brainspotting, EFT and Ego State Therapy. Natalie is also working towards Accredited Practitioner Status in EMDR and Schema Therapy. Natalie is an AHPRA board-approved supervisor and can supervise interns in the 4+2 and 5+1 internship programs as well as provide supervision to registered psychologists. Natalie is also a trained facilitator in the tuning into kids and teens programs and can run small groups for parents of children on request. Although you can self-refer so no GP referral is necessary, Natalie is also a Medicare registered psychologist so you will receive a rebate of $93.35 if you are referred under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and if you have private health insurance you may be able to claim some of the cost of sessions back from your insurer (dependant on your level of cover).
