I am a member of the sexual and gender diverse/queer community, a psychologist and psychotherapist, a previous social activist, and, a human with all sorts of strengths and soft spots. I have been practising counselling in Australia since 2021 and specialise in neurodivergent affirming counselling, gender affirming counselling, attachment trauma treatment, and family-based therapy for adolescent depression, substance misuse, self-injurious behaviour, and suicide prevention. Prior to studying psychology and embarking on a new career in Australia, I had worked in China from 2012 in social welfare and community development with the disability and sexual and gender diverse communities. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I draw on knowledge and skills from a range of therapy modalities, alongside my lived experience and reflexivity, to work towards the best possible outcomes with and for my clients.
