Overview

Tara is a psychologist with experience working with adults, families and young people to assist with a range of mental health difficulties. Tara has worked in a number of different settings including community counselling, employee assistance programs, community and inpatient mental health services. Tara is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes with her clients. Working collaboratively with each client to identify their individual needs, goals, strengths and priorities is a key aspect of her work. Tara uses an integrative approach, utilising cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness based approaches, dialectical behaviour therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. Tara is particularly interested in working with clients with anxiety, disordered eating, maladaptive coping skills, trauma, personality disorders and interpersonal difficulties.

  • Graduate Diploma of Psychology
  • Graduate Diploma of Psychotherapy
  • Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Political Science)
