Amy is a clinical psychologist and her career spans over 20 years, working with adults and adolescents in both the public and private sectors. Amy's clinical expertise includes trauma, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, anxiety, mood, and psychosis. Amy is recognised for providing sensitive, and in-depth psychological therapy that she tailors to the individual. She works from attachment and brain based therapeutic approaches. Amy aims to empower her patients to understand and overcome the impact of early challenging and/or traumatic experiences to work toward developing more secure current relationships and better quality of life. Amy is known for tailoring her approach to the individual, their presenting problem, and their readiness/capability for change. Her approach is based on compassion, respect, and validation. Tara is a psychologist with experience working with adults, families and young people to assist with a range of mental health difficulties. Tara has worked in a number of different settings including community counselling, employee assistance programs, community and inpatient mental health services. Tara is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes with her clients. Working collaboratively with each client to identify their individual needs, goals, strengths and priorities is a key aspect of her work. Tara uses an integrative approach, utilising cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness based approaches, dialectical behaviour therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. Tara is particularly interested in working with clients with anxiety, disordered eating, maladaptive coping skills, trauma, personality disorders and interpersonal difficulties.
