As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, I am dedicated to supporting people achieve their mental health and wellbeing goals through a holistic approach. My core values include curiosity, respect, empowerment and compassion. I aim to provide warm, collaborative, inclusive, and safe spaces where trust and therapeutic relationships can flourish.
My approach is trauma-informed, developmentally aware, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. I create a non-judgmental environment, allowing people to be themselves and ensure gender and neurodiverse affirming practices. I believe in building authentic relationships and continuously reflecting to learn and grow alongside the people I have the privilege of supporting.
I enjoy working collaboratively with individuals to explore various areas such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, identity and belonging, grief and loss, life adjustments, trauma, substance use, and stress. I’m particularly interested in working with young people and exploring the intersectional domains of a person’s life, helping them gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
With 10 years of experience across Victoria and the Northern Territory in community mental health and substance use sectors, I have a range of therapeutic tools to ensure a person-centered and flexible approach. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Sensory Modulation, Motivational Interviewing, and Systems Perspectives.
