Nicola Hodren (BPsychSc(Hons), MClinPsych) is a compassionate and dedicated clinical psychology registrar who values empathy, kindness, warmth and acceptance. Nicola is passionate about creating a non-judgemental space for solace, reflection and growth.
Nicola has experience working with adults, children and families and has worked in private and public settings. She has an interest in emotion dysregulation, life adjustment issues, anxiety and mood disorders. Nicola takes a collaborative approach to tailor evidence-based treatments to an individual's needs. She has experience with a range of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
Nicola is committed to continual learning and improvement by engaging in regular supervision, training opportunities, reviewing and contributing to research.
