I take a warm, relational, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel genuinely safe, understood, and able to explore your inner world with curiosity and care.
I work with adults navigating a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, burnout, and emotional patterns that can feel hard to shift. I also work in a neuroaffirming way with people exploring their experiences of attention, energy, and regulation in a world that isn’t always built with difference in mind.
Many of the people I work with describe feeling stuck, caught in familiar cycles of self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection from others. Some arrive in therapy with a clear issue to work through, while others come with a more general sense that something isn’t quite right. Either way, we explore it together – gently, collaboratively, and at your pace.
I have experience working with recovery, where the focus often extends beyond the behaviour itself to include the emotional, relational, and protective patterns that sit beneath. This might involve exploring experiences like grief, trauma, or disconnection. I also have experience supporting veterans and first responders, and I approach this work with deep respect for the impact of high-stress environments and the adaptations people make to survive them.
Therapy with me tends to be spacious and conversational. I may offer structure and direction where helpful, while allowing room for things to unfold naturally. I believe that humour, lightness, and authenticity can sit alongside depth, creating a therapy experience that feels both genuine and supportive. If you’re considering therapy, whether it’s your first time or you’re returning after a break, I’ll meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity, and care.
