I have had experience working across the lifespan, with particular interest and focus on working with children, adolescents and young adults presenting with multiple and complex mental health needs in both not-for-profit community-based and private practice settings. I have worked with a diverse range of people in one-on-one and group settings in person and via Telehealth, including culturally, linguistically, and religiously diverse populations; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations; individuals from LGBTQIAP+ communities; at-risk populations; socioeconomically disadvantaged groups; and rural populations. I acknowledge the deeply personal and unique ways in which one’s circumstances and vulnerabilities influence their path to healing.
I am passionate about working with rural and regional populations to navigate their mental health and life stressors. I acknowledge the limitations in support services in these areas and believe in the importance of support for all. I work with my clients to celebrate the small, though significant wins in their lives. I enjoy taking the time to get to know my clients and to connect with them through their interests and experiences and can understand the benefit this can have for my work with my clients.
In my free time, I love spending quality time with loved ones and cooking new and exciting food.
