Cira is a Psychotherapist, registered Counsellor- ACA and Social worker- AASW. Her compassionate approach provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals to promote self- awareness, acceptance, integration a and meaningful experience that supports healing, wellbeing, and growth. She has experience supporting a diverse range of clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, addiction, grief, and loss.
Each session with Cira is tailored to the specific therapeutic needs of each client. Cira provides an integrated, client-centred approach, incorporating from a variety of evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities, including experiential and Transpersonal Psychotherapy (TEP), Mindfulness and Acceptance-Based Therapies, and Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT), which allows know where her clients are and support them on their unique life journeys.
Cira's ability to empathise with people from many cultural backgrounds is essential because she has personally faced the difficulties of migration to Australia.
Additionally, Cira is a lead facilitator in Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), an 8-week program that aims to support individuals and groups develop attentional and emotional skills.
