I work with adults and adolescents on a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, personality disorders and trauma as well as difficulties with attachment and relationships, emotion regulation, identity, self-esteem, stress and adjustment. I believe we would work particularly well together if you value an insight-focused and reflective approach. However, I work collaboratively with my clients and strive to customise therapy to their individual needs and preferences to ensure they feel understood and supported.
My therapeutic style is personable, reflective and curious, and I believe an important part of the work is getting to know you as a person. Typically, I hold an open and non-judgemental space where I will be ask a lot of questions to explore meaningful life patterns and experiences. This helps us to get to the crux of the issue and unlock answers usually hidden from awareness. I also combine this practice with the provision of evidence-based therapeutic techniques drawn from modalities such as CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy and mindfulness. In working together, my goal is to stimulate deeper self-understanding and help you to live a life that is emotionally-balanced and truer to you.
