Ms Anunda Merz Counsellor

Anunda Merz has 20+yrs experience in the mental health sector and as a therapist working with individuals/couples, & facilitating art therapeutic programs. She's a senior counsellor with an NGO and also offer's therapeutic services in a private practice for adult individuals and couples as well as clinical supervision and case consultation to other therapists. Her approach is holistic and client focused. She specializes in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS institute and IFSCA trained). IFS is an evidence-based and compassionate approach that helps people heal from trauma, emotional pain, and self-criticism. It takes the view that there are no ‘bad’ parts of Self, just parts that take on extreme roles to help protect vulnerabilities. Other therapies include IFS-informed EMDR, Somatic awareness, ACT therapy, & art therapeutic strategies.
