My counselling approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and evidence-based, grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change when supported in a safe and respectful environment.
I draw from a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based and solution-focused approaches, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the person I’m working with.
My practice is built on empathy, collaboration, and emotional safety — creating space for people to explore challenges, rebuild self-worth, and develop healthier patterns of coping and connection.
I also integrate a holistic wellbeing lens, acknowledging the connection between the mind, body, and environment, and often include gentle mindfulness and self-regulation strategies to support sustainable change.
Whether I’m working with someone experiencing trauma, carer burnout, stress, relationship difficulties, or workplace challenges, my focus remains the same — to help people reconnect with their strengths, build resilience, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
