Lead Dermal Therapist & TruSkin Hub Manager Caris Maiolo is TruSkin Hub’s Lead Dermal Therapist and Clinic Manager. She holds an Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science from the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science. Caris provides detailed skin consultations and individual dermal treatment planning for concerns such as pigmentation, redness, congestion, acne, scarring, texture, visible pores, sun-related change and declining skin quality. Her care may include skin imaging, corrective and supportive facials, chemical peels, microneedling, LED and selected laser, light and energy-based treatments, depending on suitability. An important part of Caris’s role is connecting dermal care with TruSkin’s doctor-led pathways. She helps condition the skin before more involved procedures, supports appropriate recovery and develops maintenance plans that protect the progress achieved over time. Caris works closely with Dr Craig where concerns involve deeper laxity, structural change, advanced resurfacing or body contouring. She collaborates with Dr Zhen where medical assessment, facial movement, proportion, tissue support or Re:Generate™ planning is required. She also works alongside Cahleen to coordinate practical home care, hair and scalp support, and longer-term patient progress. As Clinic Manager, Caris helps maintain continuity between consultation, treatment and follow-up. Her approach is calm, considered and focused on choosing the right level of care for the patient rather than simply performing more treatment. Not every skin concern is appropriate for dermal treatment alone. Where medical assessment, diagnosis, prescribing or specialist care may be required, Caris will recommend review by the appropriate practitioner. Treatment suitability, expected course, recovery, risks and costs are discussed before commencing. Individual outcomes vary.
