I’m Hayden, a provisional psychologist who works with adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health and life challenges. I take a relaxed, person-centred approach to therapy and focus on understanding what matters most to you, then working together to turn that into clear, achievable steps. I’ve developed my skills across roles in private practice, disability and community mental health settings.
I have a particular interest in men’s mental health and breaking down the stigma around asking for support. My goal is to make therapy feel straightforward, collaborative and useful – not clinical or intimidating. I draw on evidence-based interventions and psychological assessment to develop clear, individualised plans that are aligned with your goals.
I commonly support people with:
Anxiety, stress and worry
Low mood and depression
Emotion regulation and anger
Life changes, work stress and adjustment issues
ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders
Behaviour and social challenges
Therapeutic approaches I use:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Schema Therapy
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Solution-Focused Therapy
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
