I am a dedicated counsellor with a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Counselling, advancing my expertise with a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Psychological Science. With four years of valuable experience in a secondary school setting, I specialise in supporting young people aged 12 to 25, particularly in addressing exclusion and friendship issues.
Recognising the significant effects social exclusion and friendship difficulties can have, such as anxiety, low self-esteem, social isolation, and academic challenges. I work with young individuals to move from these adverse impacts toward motivators of belonging, acceptance, and confidence. Fostering meaningful friendships, social skills, and emotional well-being empowers clients to thrive socially, emotionally and academically.
I also understand the concerns faced by parents, such as feelings of helplessness, worry, communication barriers, and guilt. As such, I offer guidance to help parents move towards peace of mind and stronger family connections. Through effective solutions and a hopeful outlook for the future, I assist families in creating supportive environments that promote resilience and personal growth.
By providing a safe and nurturing space committed to helping young individuals explore their potential and build lasting, positive connections while empowering parents to support their daughters with understanding and confidence.
