Lyn Moseley graduated with a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Flinders University in 2008. As a registered psychologist, she has provided psychological support to adults, families, children and adolescents in private practice and educational settings.
Lyn has contributed to three research trials addressing adolescent sleep issues and worked with children, adolescents and parents at the Flinders University Child and Adolescent Sleep Clinic to assess and treat paediatric sleep problems. Through this she has developed a particular interest and expertise in helping individuals across the lifespan overcome sleep problems.
Utilising her years of experience working with families, children and adolescents, Lyn can support parents experiencing family issues by encouraging positive, strength-based parenting practices and emotion coaching to help them better manage their child’s behaviour and emotion regulation and develop happier family functioning.
Lyn works with adult clients at Mindview Psychology to address presenting issues while also helping them develop insight and self-confidence so they can improve their life experiences by making meaningful and sustained change.
Lyn uses an integrative approach to therapy with adults drawing on evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and incorporates mindfulness and compassion focussed mind training to assist clients better manage life’s challenges including anxiety, depression, sleep problems, performance anxiety, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, grief and loss and general coping.
Lyn supports clients unpack the experiences that have shaped them and help them discover their inner resources to live more deliberately in the present and with hope for their future.
