Hello, my name is Mandy. I am a registered psychologist who is passionate about supporting
individuals to better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity
and compassion. I am dedicated to creating a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental space
where individuals feel heard and supported, feel safe to explore their experiences, and move
toward their desired change.
I completed my Master of Psychology (Counselling) at the University of Queensland, where
my training focused on person-centred and trauma-informed approaches to therapy. My
clinical experience includes supporting individuals with concerns such as anxiety, stress,
emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma-related
experiences. I also have experience in conducting psychological assessments to explore a
variety of diagnoses, including ADHD, Autism, and Learning Disorders.
As a psychologist, I value building a strong therapeutic relationship and working
collaboratively with clients to understand their unique stories, strengths, and goals. I draw
from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
(CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
(DBT). I also take a culturally sensitive approach and recognise the importance of
considering each person’s cultural background, identity, and life context in therapy.
Having lived and studied across different cultures, I value working with individuals from
diverse backgrounds and supporting people in navigating identity, adjustment, and cross-
cultural experiences.
My goal is to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, acceptance, emotional
resilience, and practical strategies that help them move forward in ways that feel meaningful
and aligned with their values.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy running, reading, listening to podcasts, and
sometimes indulging in watching Netflix.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
