Cancellation Policy

It is great if you can attend your appointment at your scheduled time but if you cancel or re-book your appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice there is no charge to you. Providing a few days’ notice is even better though so we can offer the appointment to other clients from our waiting list.

If you cancel or do not attend a scheduled appointment without providing more than 24 hrs notice, 50% of your appointment fee will be charged.

Where can I park?

Metered parking may be found in the surrounding streets with different time limits up to 4+ hours. Secure parking may also be found close by on Fortescue St or at St Andrew's Hospital located opposite The Johnson. The free Spring Hill City loop bus stops right near our Clinic making it convenient to attend appointments from the city. The bus operates every 10-20 min from Queen Street Stop 57.

Private Health Insurance
Exercise Physiology, Dietetic and Psychology services are now recognised by almost all private health funds and substantial rebates are available. We recommend you contact your health fund to ensure you are eligible for Exercise Physiology, Dietetic and Psychology services dependent on your level of extras cover.

Medicare Chronic Disease Management Program
Infertility is defined by the World Health Organisation as a disease. If you have a chronic medical condition, such as infertility, endometriosis or PCOS, you may be eligible to receive Medicare benefits for allied health services to help manage your condition.

Medicare Australia have developed a Chronic Disease Management Plan / Team Care Arrangement which is set out by your medical practitioner (including general practitioner, but not a specialist or consultant physician). To be eligible for Medicare support you must be referred from a GP to our Exercise Physiologist and placed on a Chronic Disease Management Plan/ Team Care Arrangement. To be eligible for that Plan you must have a chronic disease or injury (an issue longer than 3 – 6 months). Your GP will determine practitioner support for you which may include a maximum of 5 Medicare rebate services per each calendar year for services such as Exercise Physiology and Dietetics.

Can I use my health fund and get the Chronic Disease Management Plan plan rebate for the same consultation?
You cannot use your health fund and Chronic Disease Management Plan for the same consultation. Often people will use the rebate from the health fund for the initial consultation as they get a greater amount back, then use the Chronic Disease Management Plan funding for the following appointments. Please check with your health fund before your first appointment as rebates can vary.
