Lisa is an Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Titled Paediatric
Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience working with children and families
across public, not-for profit and private sectors in daycares, hospital, and
community health settings.
Lisa brings extensive expertise in developmental paediatrics, with a particular
passion for early childhood, from premature babies through to preschool aged
children and has a special interest in Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD)
across the lifespan.
Lisa is now offering physiotherapy services from Springwood and Wooloowin and
is currently accepting referrals for new clients.
Lisa offers the following assessment, therapy, consultancy and education services
for babies, children, and their families for the following concerns:
Developmental concerns including torticollis, plagiocaphaly, delayed motor
skill development, low muscle tone, joint hypermobility, developmental
coordination disorder (DCD), and other general developmental and motor
skill concerns.
Motor proficiency assessments to support diagnostic assessment for NDIS,
Paediatricians or other specialists or educational programs
Developmental concerns related to genetic and neurological conditions and
neurodiversity including cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, ASD, and ADHD.
Developmental screening and monitoring for babies and children to identify
potential delays or difficulties and or need for further assessment or therapy
and support (including prematurity, significant medical or family history and
preschool and school readiness)
Parental education and support for new parents who are seeking ways to
best support their child’s developmental needs (e.g newborns, positions for
play and motor skill development)
Lisa provides educational and consultation sessions for early childhood educators
and health professionals.
