Lara is a friendly and down-to-earth Psychologist, who strives to create a safe and supportive space for her clients. Her approach is collaborative, gentle and non-judgemental. She believes in using evidence-based therapy that is dynamic and tailored to each individual and/or family.
Lara has delivered psychological interventions to children, adolescents & adults in public health settings and research-based university clinics. She is very passionate about working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, low mood, intense or fluctuating emotions, and self-harm. She has also been trained to work with parents for the treatment of non-compliance and emotional outbursts in children.

Lara’s treatment approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Parent Management Training (PMT) for Child Conduct Problems. She also draws upon mindfulness-based skills, as well as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Lara is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is registered with Medicare.
