Lara Henry Psychologist

Lara is not currently accepting new clients. Lara is a clinical psychologist, providing non-judgemental and compassionate psychological support to adolescents (16+) and adults, drawing from a client-centred approach. She is passionate about building genuine therapeutic relationships with her clients, and working collaboratively with them to develop goals, build confidence, and grow to achieve mental wellbeing. ​​ Lara has experience working with clients of various ages and backgrounds presenting with difficulties and stressors including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, perinatal challenges, chronic pain, and trauma. She utilises a diverse range of interventions, to develop treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific presenting needs and therapeutic goals, including Eye movement and desensitisation (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT skills, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion.
