Overview

Katie is a compassionate and dedicated counsellor who offers a wide range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, couples counselling, and family therapy. With a strong academic foundation in psychology and counselling, she is currently completing a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Katie combines advanced clinical training with professional expertise and genuine empathy, drawing also on the insight of lived experience. Katie has a special interest in trauma therapy and stress-related conditions. She supports clients struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex PTSD, social anxiety, insomnia, OCD, eating disorders, low self-esteem, and identity challenges. She is also passionate about supporting personal growth and development, strengthening couples and family relationships, and helping people build strong connections and develop healthier personal boundaries. Her therapeutic approach integrates a broad range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), EMDR, Schema Therapy, Existential Therapies, Family Systems, Psychodynamic Theory, and Person-Centred Approach. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), Katie provides safe, effective, and trauma-informed care tailored to each client’s unique needs. Passionate about improving mental health and emotional well-being, Katie helps individuals, couples, and families strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and live more confident, connected, and purposeful lives.
