I am a male clinical psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Master of Psychology (Clinical), and membership in the APA's Society of Clinical Psychology. With over a decade of experience, I have worked across clinical, forensic, educational, and community psychology roles in regional and remote Queensland, focusing on mental health improvement, suicide prevention, and community initiatives.
I provide telehealth and in-person consultations in Yeppoon supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults. Referrals under WorkCover Queensland, NDIS, DVA, QPS, and third-party insurer funding are typically gap-free. I also provide services under the Medicare Better Access Scheme with a $105 gap fee for consultations, accept private referrals, and am a PsyBA board-approved supervisor.
I primarily utilise evidence-based cognitive-behavioural and emotion-focused therapies alongside trauma-informed approaches. My practice interests include neurodiversity including intellectual disability and autism, complex co-occurring mental and physical health challenges, psychosis, trauma- and personality-related issues, rural mental health, the psychological wellbeing of men and boys, persistent pain and injury rehabilitation, and mood disorders.
I also conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, both in-person and online, for a range of concerns, including NDIS access and psychosocial functional capacity, intellectual and cognitive functioning, personality disorders, autism and ADHD in adults, behaviour and emotion in children and adolescents, learning and academic achievement, and diagnosis of psychological disorders.
