Therapy with Harmony
My therapeutic style is compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely safe, heard, and respected. From our first session, my focus is on meeting you where you are, without pressure or expectation. I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, so I work gently and at a pace that feels right for you, offering steady support as you navigate difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I prioritise building a trusting therapeutic relationship for you to feel safe.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practice. I often use cognitive behavioural therapy as a starting point because it offers practical, accessible tools for understanding the links between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. However, therapy with me is always collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. My role is to walk alongside you and give you the confidence to make meaningful change.
I have a particular interest and background in working with complex trauma. My experience includes supporting individuals within the prison system who present with significant trauma histories and alcohol and other drug addictions. Whatever your concerns may be, I will offer a steady and respectful space where healing and growth can unfold at your pace.
