Elizabea Jennings (She/her)Psychologist

Liz is a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience providing psychological services across educational and community settings. She brings a strong background in behavioural intervention, case formulation, and evidence-based therapeutic practice, with experience supporting individuals with complex and comorbid presentations. Liz has worked extensively with children and adolescents, particularly those with additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning difficulties and disabilities, attachment-related difficulties, trauma, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. Her work in school-based settings has involved behavioural modification, Functional Behaviour Assessments, and collaborative intervention planning with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. In addition to her work with young people, Liz is able to work therapeutically with adults, drawing on her broad clinical experience and structured, formulation-driven approach to intervention. Liz is trained in and utilises a range of evidence-based interventions, including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Solution-Focused Therapy Functional Behaviour Assessments Comprehensive case formulation She is an Accredited Gatekeeper Trainer and an Accredited Advanced Team Teach Trainer, reflecting her expertise in risk awareness, behaviour support, and safe, trauma-informed practice. Liz has provided psychological services across the Greater Bunbury Region and will also be offering services to the Naturaliste and surrounding regions. She holds current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and practises in accordance with ethical and professional standards. She is available to work with adults within her role at The Therapy Place WA.
