Dr Michael Mackertich is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with experience across both public and private mental health services. He completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney and has worked and trained across a variety of metropolitan and regional hospital settings throughout New South Wales whilst becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). He holds an Advanced Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr Mackertich grew up on the North Shore and now lives in the area with his young family, bringing a personal understanding of the community he supports.
Dr Mackertich sees children, adolescents, and their families across a wide range of mental health concerns. He offers thorough psychiatric assessments and creates management plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs and circumstances. Committed to working collaboratively, he partners closely with families, schools, and other professionals to provide coordinated care.
