My main aim is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. My style of practice is collaborative and person-centered. I will work alongside you to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and build more sustainable ways of coping and connecting.
I am trained and experienced in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behaviour therapy. Regardless, I understand that one size does not fit all, so I use an individualised approach to therapy that is guided by your unique needs and goals. To begin with, we will gain a shared understanding of the issues that have led you to therapy. Then, I will support you to develop skills that help you navigate those issues and move closer to the outcomes you are seeking.
I have previously worked in various private and public mental health services including inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. I have also held roles in research and education. I have experience working with people across the lifespan, including children/parents, adolescents, and adults.
