Carla is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and with Medicare as a service provider. She is currently completing specialised training through a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Carla has experience providing psychological treatment interventions to children and families with a range of difficulties including anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, behavioural difficulties, grief & loss, relationship difficulties and parenting support. Carla is passionate about early intervention and therefore has a specific focus in working with children, adolescents and their families. She previously worked in a community based setting specifically focussed on delivering psychological interventions to children and adolescents (0-18 years) with severe and acute mental health difficulties. During this time Carla also worked as part of an Infant Mental Health Team delivering evidence-based treatment intervention to support parents in forming healthy attachments and relationships with their children. Carla has experience working within schools and private practice; her therapeutic approach is tailored to meet individual client needs and goals, with the aim of supporting young people to live a positive and meaningful life.
