I take an integrative approach to therapy and aim to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel heard and understood. My goal is to work alongside you to help you move toward your therapeutic goals, while building confidence in yourself and maintaining meaningful, sustainable change.
I am a clinical psychology registrar with several years of experience as a general psychologist in Melbourne. My professional background includes working with young people and adults across primary health care, tertiary education, and community psychology settings, providing both individual and group therapy. I have been a full member of the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy Association Australia (EMDRA) since 2020, and am passionate about this modality of therapy, amongst a range of others.
I endeavour to build a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, which supports a collaborative approach to understanding and working on issues in a meaningful way. Gaining a sense of a client’s therapy goals is something I prioritize on in initial sessions, to help provide a sense of direction with therapy as it progresses.
I work with adults across the lifespan experiencing a range of concerns, including depression, life transitions, grief and loss, managing the emotional impact of chronic pain, and stress. I also have a special interest in supporting individuals with anxiety-related difficulties, including health anxiety, phobias, generalised anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
